Handgears with a clutch, fixed on a crossbar

The housing of the handgears is made of casted aluminum and the gears are made of iron. The inner part of the handgears is filled with grease and then covered by a metal lid. With this type of handgears, the crank can push the basket in only the clockwise direction. By pressing the crank in opposite direction, we start braking. At extraction, when we stop turning the crank, due to the clutch the basket keeps turning. Turning rate: crank:basket=1:3.

- the handgears are fixed on a crossbar that fits any type of Apikunst extractor. We may fixate the handgears on a longer crossbar and the client can then adjust the crossbar (length and holes) to fit his own honey extractor by himself if he so chooses.
